Filling
1 cup chopped green onions |
1 tbsp chopped fresh oregano |
1 whole red pepper, chopped |
1 whole green pepper, chopped |
1 whole zucchini, chopped |
1 tbsp butter |
1 tsp kosher salt |
1/4 tsp ground black pepper |
1 cup crumbled feta |
Pastry
2 cups Frankie's gluten-free All-Purpose flour blend |
3/4 tsp Kosher salt |
1 cup butter, cold and cubed |
1 Lg egg |
2 Tbsp cold water, or more if needed |
1 Tbsp white vinegar |
Wash
1 Lg egg |
1 Tbsp water |
1/2 tsp dried basil (or other herb of choice) |
Savoury Galette Directions
Start by making the filling. This filling is very versatile. You can add just about anything you like to make it yours.
Sautee the vegetables in a pre-heated pan with some oil. Cook until tender. Remove from heat and let cool. Once cool add crumbled feta cheese. Don't forget to season everything... but if you're adding feta cheese make sure you don't add too much salt as feta is already salty.
