Pizza Buns
Super easy

Oh my word.  These are so good.  I make a bunch of them up and store them in the freezer and when my kids, husband or myself wants one we just pull it out, pop it in the microwave and ta-da, we've got some warm bready, yumminess.

Ingredients

1 batch Frankie's bun recipe
1 batch Frankie's tomato sauce recipe
1 cup shredded cheeses (you decide the kinds)

Pizza Buns Directions

Preheat your oven to: 475°F or 245°C

Start by making your bun recipe: https://glutenfreeguy.ca/recipes/recipe/97-buns
This recipe has both the Frankie's gluten-free all-purpose flour blend recipe, as well as the Frankie's gluten-free bread mix recipe.

Scoop dough with a 1 cup portion scoop onto parchment lined baking sheets.  Then with wet hands lightly smooth the outer edges and then flatten down the dough to approximately 1.5cm or 0.6 inches.  Press in the middle to create a bit of an edge.

Scoop tomato sauce (here's a recipe: https://glutenfreeguy.ca/recipes/recipe/106-tomato-sauce )

And then sprinkle generously with your favourite cheese.  (I like using a combination of cheese.  ie: 6 year old cheddar with a milder mozarella).

Let rise for 15 minutes and then bake in your oven for 10 minutes.

Let cool for about 10 minutes before eating.  You can also store these in the freezer and when you want one just grab one and pop it in the microwave for 60 seconds.

I made this recipe with Frankie's gluten-free all-purpose flour blend, which works cup-for-cup with pretty much everything I throw at it.  I also used Frankie's gluten-free Bread Mix.  You can make this as good as I do without compromising on any quality.  Order your bag at: glutenfreefrankies.com or visit: Amazon and search for Frankie's Flour.
